Now before you think I have committed a grave crime and that I am ashamed even to look into Aman’s eyes, such is not the case. I am still a good girl and I haven’t done anything wrong.
So the reason for my misery is – Aman has conjunctivitis. Sob sob. It is exceedingly painful to see the little boy in distress. Watery red eye, oh how I despise it.
Note for other Bangloreans : The epidemic is spreading fast in Bangalore, take care of yourself and family.

Get well Aman. I really don't get the logic behind catching the disease by looking at someone's eyes. It's like one of those childhood wonders that I somehow never got to clarify with someone - So I am asking now. I am not that dumb, generally. :) :)

@ Jagjit - this infection is contagious so the reason you are asked not to look into the eye is to avoid coming to close to the infected person..no superstition there..

:) It was only in the right eye to start with but after all the get well soon remarks it has traveled too the other eye as well... now I have 2 fiery red eyes..
